IRENE PARK, PharmD, BCACP, CPP: I grew up in Cary, NC and graduated with my PharmD from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in May of 2012 (go Heels!). My passion is direct patient care and chronic disease management and completed my residency in ambulatory care at Mission Hospital and MAHEC from 2012-2013. Upon finishing residency, I worked as a clinical pharmacist in a specialized anticoagulation service at Mission Hospital before starting as a clinical pharmacist with MAHEC and Assistant Professor of Clinical Education with UNC. I practice primarily at the MAHEC clinics at Newbridge in Woodfin, NC and Cane Creek in Fletcher, NC. I feel fortunate to be a part of a truly interdisciplinary primary care with the common goal of providing outstanding care to the people of western NC. I enjoy running, reading, traveling, and snuggling with my pups, Gryffindor and Bowie.
